The sad thing is the continuous realization that the person who "raised" me (allegedly) was not, in fact, grown up. And now that I am grown up, I see it more and more clearly.
And, because you can see that in you, you WILL be different. Alleged is right. Because, you raised yourself. You were forced to parent yourself to the best of your ability. And did a damn good job too, it seems.
