when it matters because of two gardens
I followed a rabbit trail this morning and found something unexpected and resonant and lovely, and almost cried, near the end, but in a good way.
If you have a minute, you might tell me what you think.

we need an adventure

Instead I will look at you wild-eyed and tell you that we need an adventure, we need a dream, a plan, a map of oceans and a fleet of ships to carry all of my baggage and all of your charms. A fleet of ships to sail on my waves of inexplicable nausea, to stop this sinking feeling, and to hold up my heavy heart, so it won't be another treasure buried in a chest at the bottom of the sea.

with one glance of your eyes
You have captured my heart,
my treasure, my love.
You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes.

bachache, boxes
Please excuse my absence... Not only have I been in photoshop-land in most of my spare time but also I moved rather suddenly over the weekend. So I have a great little place now that is cute and mine and the location of which has shaved a full HOUR off of my commute so that I arrive at work in the mornings in less than twenty minutes, and get home afterward in about the same. Which feels like a miracle.

diamonds & roses
My cousin got married on Sunday. They asked me to do the photos, and P agreed to help. I was a nervous wreck for 24 hours leading up to and during the ceremony and reception but then finally it was over and I put my camera away and had some champagne and danced with my boyfriend until I couldn't dance anymore. Now I get to go through and edit the 2700+ photos that we took over the course of approximately 8 hours that day. Hopefully there are at least a handful of keepers.
Le sigh.
See you later. xoxo

the time it will take
Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.
